Unlock an iPhone 2.1

Since I galéré to unlock the iPhone V1 (not 3G) and I get many questions after my video Ziphone, here's a little recap of the easiest solution to unlock an iPhone.

The solution I chose is called QuickPwn. It will help you in a few clicks to unlock your iPhone V1 with firmware 2.1

I will not detail the steps because you have absolutely nothing to do.

The only important thing to know: How to Recovery Mode / DFU (via)

1. Turn off the iPod.
2. Keep pressing the home button while you connect your iPod to your computer.
3. Keep pressing until you will not see the logo of the USB cable to the iPod screen.
4. The logo appears, you are in Restore.

1. Turn off the iPod.
2. Connect the USB into your computer and launch iTunes
3. Keep pressing the buttons "home" and "power" until the iPod turns off. Disregard the red slider that offers the power off, press!
4. Release the button "Power" but hold the home button pressed. If the logo Apple appears you have not released quickly enough. Repeat.
5. Wait about 10 seconds, iTunes should detect an iPod in "Restore Mode" (but DFU!)

Your screen should be black, no logo! If you have a logo, you are in DFU and not Recovery. Repeat.
